• A new and improved 10-position rotary automatic tool change unit is now fitted as standard across the entire SMT Series, replacing the previous 8-station linear tool changer. The rotary unit travelling with the gantry provides faster tool changes, improved efficiency and increased productivity.
• Pop-Up Location Pins replace the Side and Corner Blocks for fast and accurate sheet positioning.
• New Hybrid Matrix Table represents the pinnacle of work holding versatility, combining the improved vacuum suction with the raw mechanical security of a T-Slot system.
• 25mm Helical Rack & Pinion drive system on both the X and Y axes replaces previous straight rack and pinion. This increases accuracy and provides a smoother motion.
• Nidec Direct Drive Gearboxes on the X and Y axes, providing exceptional torque, precision and long-term reliability.
• Our unique A2MC (Australian Machine Controller) delivers industry-leading performance, reliability and has local support.

The SMT Series incorporates the Multicam A2MC Australian Machine Controller, designed specifically for Multicam CNC machines rather than relying on a generic CNC controller. The A2MC incorporates a Machine Area Network (MAN) based on industry-standard Modbus protocol, providing exceptional flexibility and versatility while allowing the machine's individual systems to communicate seamlessly.

True NC Control

The SMT Series uses true NC control, allowing direct connectivity with a wide range of leading CAD/CAM software packages. Compatible software includes EnRoute, CabMaster, SolidCAM, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, Planit, VisualMill, RhinoCAM, Microvellum and many others.
